It’s Not Always Easy


I’d be hard pressed to find a single person who never procrastinates. The reluctance to do things that are unpleasant seems to be hard-wired into our human nature, which is unfortunate since our jobs often require us to take care of tedious and mundane tasks.

As with most productivity issues, overcoming procrastination requires a shift in mentality. An article published this week on the LifeHacker blog suggests that we shouldn’t have to like everything we do, but that we should rather accept the fact that some things are not as fun as others and forge ahead knowing that there’s no real reason not to do what needs to be done.  Give it a read and see what you think:
